Abstinent Families - Endowment
The idea of this Waqf depends on the holding of the Waqf funds as an asset in which the share starts at KD 300 or its multiples, and the asset is invested while IICO spends its proceeds on the purposes of this Waqf.
Waqf is the real charitable investment that you pay in this world to support you in the Hereafter. Islam has urged the Waqf. Some scholars have mentioned that all the Companions of the Prophet had Awqaf.
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “whoever removes the troubles of his brother, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and whoever covers up the fault of a Muslim, Allah will cover up his fault on the Day of Resurrection”.
This Waqf provides support and assistance to needy families who live in need, but they abstain from asking.
Waqf is spent to:
- Supporting and alleviating the suffering of poor and vulnerable families.
- Solving the problems of defaulting on the repayment of their accumulated debts.
- Helping families to deal with their material problems both directly and indirectly.
